 呼ばわる者の声がする、

「荒野に主の道を備え、 さばくに、

われわれの神のために、 大路をまっすぐにせよ。」

 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness,

Prepare ye the way of the LORD,

make straight in the desert a highway for our God.

有人声喊着说：

在旷野预备耶和华的路，

在沙漠地修平我们　神的道。
