 その時、ネブカデネザル王は驚いて急ぎ立ちあがり、

大臣たちに言った、

「われわれはあの三人を縛って、火の中に投げ入れたではないか」。

彼らは王に答えて言った、

「王よ、そのとおりです」

Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished,

and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors,

“Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?”

They answered and said unto the king,

“True, O king.”
