わたしはあわれみの綱、 すなわち愛のひもで彼らを導いた。

わたしは彼らに対しては、

あごから、くびきをはずす者のようになり、 かがんで彼らに食物を与えた。

I led them with cords of human kindness, with ties of love.

To them I was like one who lifts a little child to the cheek,

and I bent down to feed them.

我用慈绳爱索牵引他们；

我待他们如人放松牛的两腮夹板，

把粮食放在他们面前。
